Tech Takeover: Too advanced?

                Its the twenty-first century. Tech like Tablets, Phones, and computers are great especially being they help you connect with family members, share photos of your vacation, or just play that addicting game. While these advances in technology progress. Sadly our bookstores are slowly being put out of business. Nook, Ibooks, Kindle and more have become more popular then paperbacks, and hardcovers. There is one benefit of these eBooks because they are better for are environment. But some people like the feel of smelling the paper of the smooth book, Flipping each page and feeling like you are part of the story. For some eBooks and books have the same effect. But for many eBooks don't have the same impact. Tell us what you think about the issue.

Cyberbullying: Is your child safe

Facebook, Instagram, Social IMs, YouTube, Twitter, and more
Every day the millions use these sites making them target for cyber bullying. It could happen to you only 24% of people use their privacy settings making it easier for creeps to post threatening and rumoring posts on their page. In a recent studies kids cyber bullied are 2-9 times more likely to commit suicide then other types of bullying. Sometimes the bully's think it is easy to get away with cyber bullying then the other forms. Is your child safe?

Ways to prevent it: If you are a parent discuss privacy of photos and posts and who can see them. Talk about how there are strangers who want to hurt you and you can make a difference.

Cell-Phone debate

Today most of us have cellphones. It has become an issue for schools because the constant ringing during class. Do we have a say in this controversial debate? Should cellphones be allowed at our public schools? What do you think and why? Many children have cellphones being that technology be so advanced. There is a big issue cameras, and volume. Every once and a while a cellphone will ring during class, or students will take pictures of explicit things. This is a form of cyber bullying. It is no secret that cellphones should be silenced during class😨and many of us do that every day but sometimes we forget which may disturb a class and get us punished. For some tips look below:
(1.) For iPhones hold the home button and power until a screen that says slide for power off to turn back on do same until a apple icon pops up it will turn on.
(2.) For a Samsung usually press red phone button until power gos off.
(3.) leave cell phone in your locker if no one knows your combo.

  Love & War: Let's get to the point

   LOVE:     When I got into middle school I never thought it would be this weird. Lets get to the main point   and  war! Ever seen a fight? Ever seen something like kissing? At school. If your in middle school your probably thinking "Mmmmmm..... That was some good action!" Or if your the trouble stopping type "Crazy I got a teacher and now every one thinks I'm a snitch". Yes..... I have and it is not pretty. Why would these 11-15 year olds do this. Two kids in my class last year already had their first kiss??? This is just wrong and inappropriate for these children! Kids in my class are already talking about kissing their crushes. Ewwww...!!! Especially the fact that they had done it! Some thing needs to be done. I've found some interesting signs that a inappropriate relationship between 11-15 year olds.

- Whispering.

- Cussing, and usingmature language

- Meeting another student behind closed doors or alone

- Not wanting to leave their side.

- All they ever talk about.

            Now if you see this happening report it in private so they don't think your a snitch

   WAR: Chances are you've probably seen a fight if you have it had to have a problem at your school. There are usually two sides to the story. It's hard to report fights sometimes because we don't want to be snitches. The real truth is over 9 fights happen in a year at one school. So you could just imagine how many fights are happening around the world? One way to stop a fight is to secretly leave the scene and get an adult. Make it anonymous so nobody knows it was you. Usually fights have a reason here are some common ones: 

• Boys
• Girls
• Bullying
• Friends
• Friendship problems
• Something is going on at home
• They are fed up
• A rumor or secret
• Someone accidentally bumps\hurts someone.
• A misconstrood comment thought to be a insult

             The main point is that if people don't start reporting this stuff.... The rates for love and war will go up in schools which could lead to many fights and angry parents, causing schools like ours to be shut down due to all the complaints. So if you see something like this report it. And if your a parent talk to your kid about reporting this and ask if they are involved in these situations. CUSS WORDS: THE ISSUE TODAY

        So today I randomly thought "Hey stop cussing". I noticed ten kids say cuss words or as i call them OBSURD WORDS. Only ten kids cussed in period 2. Which really made me think... If ten kids cussed in one period in one school in one day how many kids cuss in the world in one day? This led me to realize some of my closest friends cuss. So I did a survey for my observation. 8 kids said they cuss, 3 kids said no, 2 said sometimes.

I can't believe this language. And that 11 year olds are using it? I don't cuss. You shouldn't do it either
